MAN 2 will be available via download. The trial version will offer unlimited number of games on classic Beotorum planet for free. Good news is that in addition to monthly $6.95 subscription, a new attractive option will be available: $39.95 lifetime membership.

Is that in addition to the cost of the game, or is that the cost of the game?

Isn't MAN2 going to be "like" MAN 1 ?....As far as subscription, no need to buy a game at the store?.....Sounds better that way....No need for disturbing copyright protections. Just a good old time! War is hell,,,,,but these games are a blast.

Yeah, this is definately the MAN distribution model. So you download it for free, but to play on any other planet then Beotrum (and get access to all the features of the MAN site, which are extensive, etc) you need to subscribe. The Lifetime membership is going to be a sweet deal indeed.

Off topic, but only kinda: What about clans(as they exist now, when will something happen?).....What about mini-clans in MAN2?
Lifetime sweet deal sounds enticing....Maybe incentives for continued donations along with alternative involvement of some kind....yaddayadda

I'm totally against a monthly fee.
If this is going to be the case I won't buy the game.
The "life time" membership thing I'm willing to pay though, considering what the game itself will cost ofcourse.

And if I'm getting it correctly, it's only the monthly pay or life time thing to have acces to the full game.. so life time it is :)

The only reason anyone would want to do the montly fee is if they want to try the full game out before making the full investment, or if they think MAN will only hold their interest for a couple months. Otherwise, yeah, its silly to pay the monthly fee.

But if I don't have to buy a "cd" at the store to play online(the only way to fly)...then $40 for a lifetime is great!....As it is I pay nearly $20 for 3 months!!.....Gladly.... :o
This game is my hobby and pasttime, place to exclaim weird comments even!....It's safely located in my basement!
It's a challenge different than just learning rote(as in RTS)....
There are people spending thousands on unpleasant drugs and lifestyles....They :P wind up at the end of their rope....Hey!...that was me!

I'm spending thousands on pleasant drugs :D
So I don't have the money for a monthly fee, since I need my monthly cash for my dayly (how the hell you write that, each day i mean..) dope :)

If there's no cd to buy, well, no nice cd box & cover ofcourse.. just a flaw on the greateness.
