I have owned Massive Assault for a month or two now and only just got round to trying the multiplayer. When I need to sigh up it asks me for an activation code. It says this is supposed to be in the MA box but I can not see one. Can someone please tell me where exaclty it is supposed to be located as I fear the code has not been included and if it hasnt then what do I do to get one?

Hmmm thanks for the response but there is no label on my manual. I have the UK version, dunno if that makes any difference. Oh and another question, Does the activation key work for massive assault network as well?

Massive Assault Network is a subscription service, so it is not linked with the boxed version at all. As far as the activation code, there were many boxes that didn't receive them due to errors made by the publishers (part of the reason there is MAN, to avoid dealing with their errors!) You may be able to get an activation code by sending MA support a message. You can fill out a support question form from the main massive assault home page.

From what I've heard the version does make a difference. You've probably already checked but I'll throw these out just in case:

The code may be printed:
On the CD itself
Inside the Game Manual
On the sleeve that the CD came in
On the registration card

Other than that I don't know where you would look. I believe there is a phone number you can call to get that code, but I don't know it off the top of my head.

I don't know about MAN.

the uk versions were sent out without a code, just email support about thsi.

yeah I just bought the game today and couldn't find the code. panic set in and I was about to go exchange it but the shop was closed. good thing I found this little forum

Polish versions of MA had the same problem - there was no activation code inside the box - but support was very helpful
