Hi all,

I know there are various "broken game" threads, but non of them seem to fit my problem.
Okay I have the boxed version of MA with the 1.2.204.exe patch.
I'm playing the "Last Campaign" step two. Now about six to eight moves into the game (just as I start getting the upper hand ) I get the broken game error, please restore (I have no option to restore).

Anyway I restarted the campaign twice then started to save after each phase. Now non of my saves will load!

The load bar lights up, but the last one then I hear combat phase. But it still stuck on the splash screen, and just hangs there!

I'm going nowhere fast any help?

ps this is my first broken game error, I've played everything up to the campaigns

It's a known bug which has been fixed already.
With the next patch you will go on enjoing campaigns.
But don't ask me about the patch date. I don't know. Usually, we never delay patches release. Just be patient.

I too have just encountered this problem, hits me on the same map at around turn 3 though.

I take it the fix isn't in the May '04, (v1.2.204) patch, but one to come ?

I also experienced this bug, rather annoyingly about 2 moves from the end. I had devastated his forces and was just about to take his capital when it told me it was a broken game ! grr... 2 hours or so wasted !

I have the latest .204 patch installed so it isn't fixed in that.

So how do we have to wait before you guys (Developers) send out the new patch???? We are waiting.........

I too have the same problem, around turn 2 or 3 I get the "broken game" error msg on the Last Campaign - step 2 map. I also tried to save the game 1 step at a time but now the game won't load at all and the load bar stops with 1 bar to go and I hear "combat phase".

I was hoping to find the answer here but it looks like i will have to wait for the next patch , oh well will play another map
