Will there be a scenerio editor included with the game on final release? I don't see anything on the web page on this topic. Looks like a cool and original game but I do enjoy playing user made scenerios so I hope an editor is included :D

there won't be a scenarion editor as a standalone programm on the CD, maybe it will be downloadable later. But the scenarion file format is very simple and can be edited with any text editor.
There is a special .ini file option to show all those hexnumbers and country ids in-game.

Here is the example:

UnderPressure.scn
TITLE, "Under Pressure"
PICTURE, "Under Pressure.tga"
TYPE, SCENARIO
DIFFICULTY, 3
DURATION, 1
DESCRIPTION, "Our small Allied country is under attack from 2 enemy medium countries.[br][br]Resist the enemy invasion and capture both enemy Allies one by one."

Cool, thanks.

I sure hope a scenerio editor will be released soon after the retail release. Now I don't really know how this game works yet since I don't get the UK PC gamer but it says 6 different planets? Since I love mods I think it would be cool to be able to make your own planets.

Don't mean to be picky, just a thought :D

I just like to make scenerios in games and to download user made stuff. I just find it keeps the game alive for a very long time.

I can't wait to try the demo!

the process of making a planet is not very easy - our technology is different from, for example, Heroes of M&M - we do not drag pieces to the grid... so while the format of a map file is plain it will require lots of work to make a good planet. And we (almost) don't use any special tools.

OK, guys... we're almost finished with that Scenario Editor.

But we need to polish it.
And we're having hard times now working on the Demo....

We'll get back to the Scenario Editor somhwere after the Demo...

Which .ini options are those? In the settings.ini? That'll be very helpful for a little scenario builder program I'm writing
