Well... I'm playing a game against Fantasts and i'm having a good advantage, but suddenly out of the blue, in a country i control (and allways did) and where was gathering strenght, he simply use my acomulate points and recruted forces for himself(?????).
I'll repeat: i have the control of that country and there is no enemy forces nearby!
It is certanly a bug!
What really amaizes me is that an experienced player like Fantasts(Colonel) takes advantage of that, showing an incredible lack of fairplay!!!
Can someone help me with this bug? And maybe give a word to Fantasts about Fairplay? :x

It is possible that he disclosed that country , ie it was a secret ally. Thus he would be spending his own $ not your saved $. You will be able to spend your saved $ once you regain control of the country. If he gains eventual control then unfortunately at that point (and not earlier) he will have the cash.

Always post game nuber you are talking about if you want to draw the attention of Devs

And do not leave captured countries unguarded - your opponent may have it secretly allied and disclose to gain control.

I have player a number of games with Fantasts and I have not noticed any problems, cheats or not-fairplay. So it was his Secret Ally (you've got this country thinking that it is Neutral, but Colonel Fantasts was very artful and disclosed his Secret Ally at most paying moment.

This leads me to a curious question...

Is there a way (or a way planned by the devs) to cede victory to an opponent besides just waiting for the "timer" to run out? Even just a "surrender" button that grants loss to you and victory to opponent would be good to clean up the leftovers of unfinished games.. :)

Me.

Surrender is fully in place. Its in the menu. And the timer doesnt automatically end a game, it still has to be manually finished.

hmm..are you REALLY sure that was YOUR secret ally which then became Fantasts?
and you are sure there was not some sneak unit running into the capital and capturing empty country (with guerillas provoked already)?
well if so it is a VERY unusual bug like no one seen before...post here a replay and send support request.
Fantasts in known to be not a very honest player because he usually just stops playing game when he see he losing (instead of surrendering - i have one game with him more that 2 months old still not finished cuz he barely making one turn per 2 weeks) But if it comes to intentional abuse of bug...such a matter should be investigated throughly.
and as Skykeeper said you should always include number of game when posting anything.

I'm very sure of it!

He really did provoke my guerrillas and i respond disclosing and finish with all invasion forces in the next turn. He never did get even close to capital.
And confirming all that isthe fact that the info window says that i have disclosed that country and that i have the actual control of it!
The number of the game is 3013, planet Wasserland and the country in question is New Dominion.
The replay doesn't show his last move because i haven't done mine yet.
I was not in the mood to play another turn of this game without knowing what's happening. But probably i'll win anyway due my big advantage.
You can take a look at the replay and see if he can recruit any forces from New Dominion in his next turn... His nearest unit is miles away!
But i'll make my next move and save replay just for you guys to see with your own eyes... :o

OK! I've made my next move and now watch the replay and pay attention to 3 destroiers that Fantasts recruit on New Dominion - a country that i have control and had 6 credits that he used to his own!! :o

It's a bug and Colonel(?!?) Fanfasts try to take advantage of it!! :-?

Hope that support team can fix it and (why not?) give a word about the general fairplay the exists in this game to Fantasts.

Like to give a word too to the fantastic work you guys have been doing in this excelent game. Not only with the game it self ("...simplicity, balance and AI above average makes Massive Assault a great challenge..." in Mega Score - top game magazine in Portugal - and five star classification game!), but also with the close and carefull support given to players (individually and in forum).

See you guys in the batllefield!

ok i watched the replay, it looks to me like it was your SA to start with, he invaded it and took the capitol, u then destroyed the units invading but never took the capitol back, you then removed all your land units from the country. This then meant as he had the capitol the country become his. I've only watched it once but that's how it looks to me.

We are really sorry.
It's our(devs) fault.
Problem is in incompatibility between 189 & 191 versions of MA.
If you wish, we could finish this game manually as draw.

Well, it looks like the problem was in an incompability of versions and probably the game was seen indifferent ways by me and Fantasts.

I've tryed to contact several times Fantasts so that we could understand what was happenning and why. I've done it by private messages and in the game too. I even started a new game with him just to ask him what was going on in the other game, but i'de never had any kind of response, just his turns, wicth reenforce my first idea.

Never the less, here goes my apologies to Fantasts if i thought wrongly about him, and if he really have no idea of what i was talking about.

It does bring up a interesting problem though. When should you dare to patch when you always have a bunch of games going.

Probably our beloved devs are already on this - i sure would welcome a forced autopatch feature ;)

I'm sure our Devs have studied already the best solution!
I forgot to say that of course i agree with the manual draw, it couldn't be another way....
I'm playing another game with Fantasts and so far no problems. :)
But i still can't get one single word from him, i have no idea what does he thinks about all this... :-?

Well, Fantasts - he is not English-speaking person, as it seems to me.
