I just noticed in my finished games section that I have some Won, some Surrendered, some Lost, and now I have one that says NAN.

This was a game that wasn't finished, and both myself and my opponent were quite active. Approx one turn per day at least. With several games going on I didnt notice straight away.

Anybody know what this means, and how did it happen ??

Are you sure it wasn't a game from the tournament that was cancelled? All my games that were created with the first tournament software and were cancelled because of the bug are now in my finished games with "NAN".

I didn't enter the tournament. I was still playing my first ever online game when it started, and considered myself just a little bit too new to think about entering tournaments. But yes, I do have the offending game with words NAN stamped next to it. I don't know about this bug you mention. Somebody must know the whole story though. Any ideas?

NAN is a new feature that finishes the game if the turn is not sent in 14(21?) days.Games finished that way will be marked as NAN.(if I am right)

Thanks for the help so far, but in answer to Magistr Honna, this game was quite active, at least one turn per day. And to be honest, at that time I had barely had the game for 14 days, let alone had any lapsed games.

In that case all you have to do is wait:)Sooner or later one of the devs will notice this topic and most likely ask game number,so you better find and remember it;)

Or you can post the game number without rememberring it. :)

In this case a developer of another part of the game may look at your game.

It will speedup the response in any case.

Ok, not a problem. The game number was 1346. Foxhound versus Xantrul. And from looking back through my emails the last turn I received from Xantrul was on 18/01/2004. Less than a week ago even now.Perhaps I will send a mail directly to Xantrul and ask him what has happened at his end. At any rate I am becoming more and more puzzled about this. Its not as if that particular game was a classic battle or anything, but just that it kinda stopped before we got going.

This game was considered a tournament game and was ended when the tournament was restarted. Well, it was not really a tournament game... It's fixed now and both you and your opponent should "repair" it to continue.

Same problem here, a NAN game in the finished screen....also against Xantrul.

It was started 10 days ago, and we'd just finished turn 5.

game 1530
