the qustion is dedicated to the multiplayer options, can i play this game with worldwar option with other friend online/LAN or is this only possible in the MAN version ?

ist there in one of this version a Team match. f.e. 2 on 2 ?

u can play multiplayer online with both man and ma, man just has extra features adn extra maps. Neither of them can be played over a LAN wihtout an internet connection cause all turns are sent to an online server.Also a ma player can play with a man player.

Man trial is free to use and gives u emerald map whihc u can play online/vs ai for as long as u want.

There is no team play this is a pure 1v1 game.

Or an observer mode that 2 players can play one group from other places.

players and devs have been trying to think of a way to have more than 2 players playing at same time, but roughly u get 1 turn done a day so games would take forever, and after say 2 ppls turns the 3rd person would be so smashed up that they might as well give in.
