It would be nice if by default a replay name would contain planet, both players, who played what, and who won. A lot of people already do this, but why not do it by default so we don't have 12 naming conventions floating around, and we have the info we need about a replay?

This was brought to my attention by Vixen, and others have used their own standards.

I'd want the number of turns too.

After discussion, we (the main part of GoT and NWO clan members) suggest our agreement about replays naming convention:

9999-XXX-PLCommander(L)-FNUCommander(W)-TurnNumber.rep

where,

9999 - game's ID number, it's create automatic on MA game server, we all can see it in the our game's list;
XXX - short planet abbreviation (BIZ,EM,ANT,BRI,ANU,NR,NP,WAS and etc.);
PLCommander(L) - player, who play for Phantom League (it's always first name), at this case he lost, (L - Lost);
FNUCommander(W) - player, who play for FNU (it's always second name), at this case he won, (W- Won)
(i.e. (W) placement near player who's winner, and instead (L) placement near player who's loser);
TurnNumber - it's count for a turn number.

Example:
1313-BIZ-Vixen(L)-Vixman(W)-13.rep
1314-BIZ-Vixen(L)-Vixman(W)-10.rep
1315-BIZ-Vixman(L)-Vixen(W)-15.rep
1316-BIZ-Vixman(W)-Vixen(L)-6.rep
At this small match each player has 2 game for PL, and 2 game for FNU.
Vixman win 3 games (one for PL and two for FNU), Vixen win one game for FNU.

If you have any notes, please, let's say that at this topic.

We are, also hope to meet with approval by Devs for using that, or similar replays name notation at their creating by default.

That's pretty much the system I've been using on the Replay forum, so it looks good to me.

I like it too. Just bumping the thread, hoping that some devs will pay attention. :)
