best thing todo is create some public chalenges, then people who want a game will accept them. Todo this goto challenge opponent, click public game at top right, then pick your setting and you're set.

No. You can only do "public challenges" in MA Network. For basic MA, the best thing to do to learn the game is come here and ask for opponents (like you did). But most of the people here are Generals (or at least Majors). Expect to get your butt handed to you. Ask them to give you commentary on the game as it is played. They'll explain the little tricks they use and point out where you go wrong. Once you lose a game like this, go back and watch the replay to see how they set up their initial disclosure and carried out their opening moves. You'll find that an old saying in auto-racing applies to MA: You can't win in the first turn, but you can definately lose. Learning from the likes of Tiger and Enforcer you'll see how to avoid those early game mistakes that doom you to defeat.

Once you've played a few games against the big boys and are comfortable with the ins and outs of MA, just go to the Personal Challenge menu in MA and pick two or three players to issue challenges to. Use the "More" button to see how active potential opponents are. Avoid challenging people who haven't logged in for more than 2 days or who have more than a handful of active games. Also, be advised that people ranked below Lieutenant are newbs and prone to quitting once they start losing. That's okay, though. You can end the game after the time limit is reached and get the win. You'll eventually find a handful of players who are reliable and a good challenge for you and you won't have to go looking for opponents to often.
