I have the following:

P4 3.0C Ghz
1024MB PC400 DDR RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
Creative Audigy 2

I play Massive Assault at 1600x1200 full screen and everything works fine, bar a little sowdown when panning over trees (but that seems to happen at anything above 1024x768, and even then there is a slight lag). However, sometimes, for no apparent reason, I'll fire up the game and everything will be very laggy, the pans will jump along, the opening battle lags like mad when missiles are fired, etc.

I am perfectly up to date on drivers and have no problems in any other application.

The problem only appears to occur when I have another program loaded (and not always then). Once it was Mozilla Firebird and Trillian, another time I had foobar2000 along with them. Problem is, even if I quit MA and close all the apps, the problem continues until I reboot the machine.

Closing every app to launch MA isn't really a practical solution if I want to pop in to check on my multiplayer games. The problem happens for windowed mode too.

Will you please send ma.log file (from te root directory of the game) immediately after this happens, and DxDiag.txt file to support@massiveassault.com
