Just got myself online for some gaming. First thing I did was make a couple of challenges, both of which are listed under Waiting For A Turn. Then, I received the challenge from the online mentor Accepted that and made my deployment and submitted... now it's nowhere to be seen.

Also received a challenge from Tiger (gulp) and accepted. Made my deployment and submitted, this game also appears to have vanished.

From my understanding, they should listed under Waiting For A Turn, or maybe Current Games... they're under neither. Where are they?

I also hit Send & Receive just to make sure I simply hadn't got the details from the server, but nothing has been added to the list.

Server shows that you have 2 active games with Tiger and Lola and you've made your turn.

They should appear under "waiting" tab.

Have you installed the v191 patch?

you may also pack your /save folder and attach it to your letter to support.

I'm fully patched and have all the latest stuff, including the Quick Fix from this page.

I have filed a support request and included by Save folder.

Ahhhh crap, I sense a loss coming on. I have received an e-mail telling me Tiger has moved, but there is STILL nothing listed, either under Current Games or Waiting.

Help! I completely reinstalled and now I can see my games, but in the game against Tiger it's my move, but it's still listed under Waiting, even though if I create a replay, I can see the move he's made!!

There goes another... just started a new game against Arianus as the PL on the, uh, Bizzario (?) one. Sent a challenge, it was accepted and I saw the game listed under Current Games. Made my move and clicked submit, saw it listed under Current Games with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle, so I hit Send & Receive. It disappeared but did NOT appear under Waiting Turn... it's just gone.

I have the latest patch, the quick fix, the new map, the new scenarios and the new campaign. If it makes any difference, I had no CD key inside my case, nor in the manual (that I could find) so mine came via tech support.

Also, during both my first and second installs I used the profile Quitch (the second time I restored it from the server, having created it during the first install). I suppose that could be the problem, but I ain't creating a new one till the name Quitch is free once more

Anyway, if you guys have any ideas, please, let me know. I submitted a bug report for the first install, but my problems tend to outpace tech support

my only guess could be taht your firewall setting are blocking incoming games?

exclamation mark in yellow triangle mean that games are not being sent.usually that's because you not connected to the internet.if you connected and still see yelllow triange...that's probably your firewall preventing you from playing.

My firewall doesn't block outgoing connections, and I don't believe their server makes any incoming. Plus, I can see everything fine UNTIL I take a turn, then BLAM! the game is destroyed (according to Sky Reaper in the games I disclosed my countries twice).

I should note that I run the game as User with Write permissions across the folder, its subfolders and files.

EDIT: The Yellow Triangle games are sent and arrive with my opponent (confirmed) when I hit Send & Receive.

Hmmm, interesting. I think this may be a rights issue.

I received a turn from Aranian after I'd played my turn, but I still see it as Turn Waiting. However, in my game against Mrakobes I'd changed my user permissions on the folder to Modify, rather than Write, and when I submitted my turn the game vanished off my Current Games list and went to my Waiting Turn list... no exclamation marks, no vanishing games, it just worked.

I'm going to try another challenge and see if games now work smoothly. If so, I'll have to can all games bar my Mrakobes one (since they appear bust) and I'd direction your attention towards my 2K/XP compatibility thread in the Watercooler forum.

Anyway, I'll get back to you. Not getting too excited yet, I'll see what happens in my new game against Aranian and how the Mrakobes ame goes... if they work though, problem solved, it's a profile rights issue.

OK, games 4122 and 4123 were broken on arrival according to Sky Keeper, so please wipe them.

Games 4108, 4130, 4127 and 4138 are working fine.

Game 3997 hasn't had a reply yet, so I can't speak as to its status.

Any other games are invisible to me, and should they exist, need to be wiped.

I would again point you to my 2K/XP compatibility topic. This issue has made it more relevant than ever for me.

Oh, and 4001 is under my finished games, though I don't know where the heck that came from... can somoene nuke it?

Is that the new game or the old one? Wouldn't surprise me if it was the first one we started (IIRC, before I changed my rights... don't remember if the second one was)... let's get it killed then

It's the one that's four turns in. I looked at the replay and it looks like I got two turns in a row. No complaints about extra turns from this end, but my soldiers need to be smacked for hanging out with the enemy.

Yep, it's the old game... shouldn't have any problems in the new game, I think all my online issues are sussed.

It's a bug. I've had it happen to me in single player before. The computer had 2 LAVs on the same square, was quite a PITA to get rid of them.

From now on, all my games should work smoothly. I've sorted out the rights which seemed to be causing this problem... currently getting skooled by Mrakobes on what happens when you leave a Rocket Launcher next to a territory you just invaded... now is that stupid or what?
