Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but is there a way to turn on the hex grid during regular play so you can see how far your units are from your opponent. Sometimes for enemy range units I like to see exactly how far they can reach so I can stay out of range while setting up a maneuver.

The grid comes on when buying new units and when moving your units, but I don't see an option to turn it on during regular play to judge distances a little better. Have I missed something or is this just not available?

press CTRL to switch grid on/off
use SHIFT to see if enemy can fire onto particular place
press F1 to learn more

And like everyone else has already said, this is an awesome game. Just when I was looking for a good turn-based game (I thought the genre had almost been given up for dead), I stumbled across Massive Assault when I was looking at game reviews. By far, the best turn-based game I've ever played and one of the top 10 overall of any game I've played. You guys have done some great work.
