Is it down right now or are there problems on my side of the line?

Well our Mentors are playing almost round the clock and they didn't notice any server problems yesterday.

Massive Assault server is placed on a quality US-based dedicated server, which has technical problems VERY rarely.

Sometimes people are experiencing problems with those firewalls and other corporate security "features" blocking the IP's, ports, etc.

Anyway, we do realize that our server cannot be 100% uptime guarantee. So, if there is a suspect of the server being down, the players are advised to post in this forum immediately, indicating their time zone and time they experience the problem (so that we can check with our logs).

I guess, if the server is really down, the forum must be flooded with at least half a dozen angry posts from various players

Problem is,I`ve been playing here this morning with EXACTLY the same firewall settings and now it just cannot connect...

My time is +3:00(meaning it`s 15:26 now) problem exists for at least 4 hours already.

it seems to be a problem of your ISP(internet service provider). Could you try to connect to the game server through another ISP?

The problem somehow disappeared(lucky!:)). I DO beleive it could be my ISP(grumblin smth about insanely greedy isp owners in small towns...) and no - I couldn`t use another...so I`m glad it got to work by itself;)

The same bug is back.Now for nearly half an hour I can`t connect to MA server for some reason and I can`t ping it either.

Take note of that you are the one who complains of some difficulties with the server. Think of it...

I`ve found a way around that problem.Just typed Ip of the server instead of its name in settings.ini:)
