 Post subject: Missing Registration Code?
PostPosted: Fri Nov 28, 2003 7:25 am
Ok so I got the game, and it runs fine even with 128m of ram, but when I try to set up Multiplayer it asks me for a registration code. Which according to the Manual is in the CD box. However, I can't find anything that looks like a 'registration code' in the box (its just a plain black plastic case with the picture of the game on the outside) and I've searched the manual for some kind of code but nothing there either. Does anyone know where the Registration code is on the UK version of the game??

I had exactly the same problem. I bought the game from an online store, it arrived in the post in perfect condition, complete with cellophane wrapping intact. But there was no activation code in the box. I saw this thread and used the support contact, they emailed me a code straight away, I was very impressed with the speed of the reply. What is a worrying thought, is how many other people buy the game, have no code, and not bother to get one. Thus diminishing the possible amount of online players.

Their loss... As (I think its Mrakobes) is fond of saying, the AI is only there to prepare you for the online experience.

To anyone that reads this that hasn't gone through the registration process, I'd say, give it a try! Make it work somehow! The MA dev/support team is prompt and willing to work with you to get things up and running. And then you'll be playing against some new players, and a few grand masters. You'll have some lucky ally setups sometimes, but then find that due to superior tactics, the enemy wins anyways, and other times you'll be in a horrible position, but find a way to survive a few turns longer.

I stand by my belief that absolutely no other game can come close to the depth of strategy that this game has, all with a simple interface and a small set of units.
