When I start MA, my screen just goes black... my system doesn't hang, but I can't do anything (ctrl+alt+delete,...) but to push the RESET button. I have the latest DIRECTX installed.

My System:
Intel PENTIUM IV 2.4 Ghz
512MB DDRAM
Gforce4 64MB
Creative SoundBlaster LIVE! 5.1 Digital

first of all, please, send your 'ma.log' file to us (vadim@wargaming.net).

second: in the directory, where you installed MA, there is a subdirrectory named 'data'. Please remove all *.avi files from here.

third: if previous doesn't helps than open settings.ini (in the root folder of MA) and change FullScreen from 1 to 0.
