Hello, just started playing MAN2. Played original MA a whole bunch, but just found out about this site and downloaded MAN2 beta. I like all the new Domination units, and am really looking forward to playing with the full extended unit set (all units from both sides available to all). This being said, I can't stand the animation of the Transport Copter. It takes way too long, and just seems wrong. When I tell a unit to load into the Copter, it should move to the space the Copter is on, the Copter should lift into the air slightly, the unit will move underneath, and the Copter should settle back on top of it ready to go. It should not SLOWLY fly to the unit and pick it up and bring it back to where the Copter was originally sitting. When I have moved the Copter as far as it will go, and then tell the transported unit to disembark, the Copter should lift up slightly, and the unit should move away to where you pointed it. The Copter should not fly forward yet another space (I thought I had already flown it as far as it would go), drop off the unit, and then SLOWLY fly BACK to where it ran out of gas. Especially since the goofy time-consuming flying by the Copter is using movement points from the transported unit. It a real gameplay issue also, when you are playing 10-min limit games, it takes 30 seconds or so to move one item. |

I agree that the helicopter animation is too slow. |

Acutally, you can immediately begin moving as soon as the animation starts. Just click on the space that the heli will be and act as if its already there. A little unnerving yes, but it works. |

Yep, but it is helpful for the animations to keep up with one's clicking. |

Well, at least make an attempt to. |
