Without being able to see how the units of each opponent are arrayed against each other it is very hard to comment on this game. Besides, after staring at my own map for a few hours and still missing the air/land transport connection, I no longer think I am qualified to pass any judgments ![]() |

I mean no disrespect to my opponent, who is playing an excellent game and still has the advantage, but win, lose or draw, east team or west, a Morn takeover is a pretty slick move! I can it this in honor of the first player that I knew to actually pull it off--so long ago that my old brain can not remember anymore ![]()

Your link takes me to a screen shot of one of Ravermister's games--Lars introduced Ravermister to this move long before Alex used it in this game. Also, I used it against Pitor with a large on trinity and Lars and I did a back to back with a large and med on trinity, all before the game you took the screen shot from. I did not claim to be the first, only that this is a slick move to do. As far as I know, my good friend Lars was the first, therefor a "Morn takeover" ![]() |

I only made that move about 3 days ago. It's in a game that I am already going to win. Storms move is in a game which is very much in the balance. He has killed $10 in units, denied $6 in guerillas and their first attack. This move could turn the game in his favour. Awesome move. Probably worth at least $20 plus the $30 in income over the next 10 turns. Morn was the first and has even made the move against the legendary Pitor. He played it on me years ago. It's a big surprise when it first happens to you. Great feeling for me to finally pull it off against a large country. Would be even sweeter in close match. One more thing - storm pulled the move off in a tournament game - (like Morn did vs Dav11 in King of Trinity). It may even mean the west wins the grudge match. Great move once again. |

My personal congratulations for all west players who have played this match. Thanks for your taking part and serious games. So,we had the number of players in our team who were unmotived and did not want (or can) to play this match. Will be a lesson for East.We wait your suggestion about improvements (formation, medals, vote, annuality, etc) of this rendez-vous. |

For the second match - I think the same format (with Captains chosing a team and then allocating maps to each team member) However I suggest the following minor rule changes: 1. Must have between 5-10 players and each player can play only 2 games at most but this time they can NOT be on the same map ![]() 2. The following 5 maps: - Trinity - Sea Switzerland - Swamp - New Paradise - Wasserland (instead of Twin Islands) 3. The winning Team gets a Medal which they can wear with pride ![]() 4. Next Grudge Match to be held after the Large Planet Cup is finished (and when the finalists have had a rest). |

Thanks for the congratulations---I think. I could be wrong, but it kind of sounded like you were saying that victory was achieved not by our game play but rather by the lack of motivation or the wrong player selection of the east team. Probably just a glitch in expressing things in english. ![]() |
