Have you guys considered having a lightweight chat application that could access the MA chat channels outside the game? It'd be nice for clan recruiting, community building, trash talking, etc when life doesn't put you in the position you can currently be playing.

It is not IRC but it is inspired by IRC ;-)
There is a Win32 MAN chat, but it was a prototype, so it is very ugly now. We will release it someday after some cosmetic changes.

IRC was one of the options, but it is very-very overcompicated for MAN purposes and has a lot of code...
