First, just a generic thing, does your altitude have an effect on range or sight? Is there an advantage to being on top of a hill? Are there and plusses or minus when a unit is in a field or in trees, etc? And is that voice that reads everything totally computer generated? Does anyone know the technology behind the voice?

There are no modifiers due to range or terrain. The Massive Assault has attempted to keep the game simple so that we can focus on deep strategy, a goal that the developers met very well.

As far as the voice, it seems to be prerecorded, but only the Devs know for sure...

Some terrain (wood for example) slows down movemenet of some units and is impassible for amphibians.

Ingame voice belongs to a very pretty young russian lady, so it has some accent and sexy a bit.
